Broker's Comments

A very special boat, built for a cult in Australia to survive Armageddon in style, however they later decided that Armageddon might include a tsunami and headed for the hills ! She is designed to be self sufficient and comfortable at sea for extended periods, note the fuel and water capacities, the 5 ( approx 1 cubic meter each) S/S storage bins under the saloon sole, the dedicated dry goods storage bins built into the aft bunks, the two 9 Kg gas bottles, lee cloths on all the bunks and a full size washing machine.
On deck she has high Nickel S/S solid guard rails, jack stays, a boom break, mast steps, a sun awning that can be deployed from the boom in no time at all and full good quality mosquito screens for the pilot house, as well as all the hatches.
Most of the electronics are duplicated as are many other systems, two auto pilots and the engine even has a second emergency starter motor.
Down below the interior is from solid Brazilian Mahogany, the bunk covers and curtains are Sunbrella, the toilets electric, all gas and water piping is from copper tubing and there is great access to the super clean engine room.
The cost of building and equipping yacht to this standard today would be prohibitive.
Load her up with with more than 2 tons each of fuel, water and stores and you can make use of her 3,000 Nm range in great comfort, or keep her light and she will turn in surprising passage times under sail.
