Broker's Comments
Here we have a stunning and very, very tidy Doral Monticello sport cruiser that has had very light use.
She is showing a total of 796 hours from new however, the engine was replaced in 2020 with a new recon long block so the actual engine hours are far far less at 110. and this shows in how the motor look, starts and runs.
The whole boat is very, very tidy and probably as close to a new boat as you may find. She certainly does not look nor feel 23 years old!
The cockpit is the convertible style which means the aft bench seat can move backwards to make the seating more spacious if you wish. The cockpit offers several seating options in Doral embossed seating that looks stunning and is very comfortable and, to my eye, undamaged.
The large insulated engine hatch is gas strut assisted and gives excellent access to the engine room and there is also a smaller hatch to access regular check items too.
The twin sliding helm seat is a nice touch at the fully equipped helm station and the wraparound screen is the step-through design to safely access the front deck from within the cockpit. The sliding cockpit door brings you into the stunning and immaculate interior of this classy vessel. The interior is very well laid out and can sleep 4.
The wraparound saloon is convertible to a large double and the lacquered and inlaid table is a nice piece that catches the eye. The galley to port has all you would need to cater for days away with 3 burner gas hob, microwave and large fridge with ample storage and work space.
The large under sole double is comfortable and roomy and has a large opening window to the cockpit. The wet room heads and shower complete the interior space which is bestowed with stunning wood work, and leather features that reflect the quality that these boats deliver.
Her outdrive was serviced in 2022 and the engine just had the common fuel infection pump replaced and she runs very nicely and almost silently on the river. Being the fuel injected engine she is as economical as she can be and at river speed will use about 2.5 l per hour in serene silence.
Her canopy is very good and she presented in original gelcoat and will meet any expectations of a new buyer. Her Broads toll is paid and her Safety Certificate runs to Oct 2024. Antifoul and anodes were all done with the outdrive in 2022. She also has full shore power support with battery charger.
This is a beautiful boat that will impress all who see her both internally and externally, and she will turn heads wherever she goes.
