Broker's Comments

This 57ft Houseboat is being sold with its mooring at Willow Wren Wharf and represents an excellent opportunity to acquire an affordable mooring spot with decent transport links to London - The Elizabeth Line station at Hayes is 20 mins walk away.

The boat is being sold "as seen" and it should be assumed that the boat needs to be scrapped by the purchaser. We understand the boat hasn't been out of the water for about 25 years and since the second floor was added in around 2000, it is now stuck in situ as it will not fit under any bridges to get to a dry dock. It therefore is not available to be surveyed out of the water and we can't give any assurances about the hull's integrity. We have estimated the original build date to be around 1980.

The CRT mooring at Willow Wren Wharf is fully transferable to the new owner who will then have the opportunity to replace it with their own choice of boat (subject to CRT approval). Current mooring fees are approximately £500pcm.

The local boatyard is able to help with scrapping the boat, but the fee is yet to be finalised.
