Broker's Comments

The Mirage 28 is a popular cruiser. Built in the 1980's and so heavily laid-up, this version also benefits from the versatility of bilge keels. The boat features a large cockpit and roomy interior, including galley, saloon, a good sized heads for a 28' boat and a snug forward, double cabin.

This version has benefited from significant investment by the current owner, including being re-engined in 2020. The sails look to be in good condition and all seacocks were replaced in 2017.
The interior is characterful and the owner reports a boat that is economical and easy to sail, including singlehanded.

This boat would be suitable as a starter option, family cruiser and provides numerous sailing opportunities for use in shallow waters, estuaries, coastal passage making and longer voyages when the weather permits. Please do contact us with any queries and if you would like to organise a viewing of this boat and we would be pleased to help.
